This event, supported by Mercer Marsh Benefits and the Business in the Community (BITC) Wellbeing Leadership Team launches BITC's Mental Health at Work report 2019 in Scotland.
Find out about the wellbeing of Scotland's workforce, the implications and what needs to be done to address the issues.
59% of people have experienced a mental health issue due to work and one in three have been formally diagnosed with a mental health condition1. At this event you can find out more about how employers can address this important issue.
The report pays particular attention to what employers can ‘own’ in terms of preventing psychological injury at work. It also includes recommended employer actions, collectively agreed with our nine national partners - Business Disability Forum, CIPD, The Institute of Leadership and Management, Involve, Mental Health At Work, MHFA England, Mind, Salary Finance and the Society of Occupational Medicine - that employers can take in order to accelerate change.
At the event there will be opportunity to hear from employees as they discuss their personal experience of mental health at work, ask questions following our panel session and to take part in discussions with fellow guests. We will ensure that our guests are able to share their thoughts and discuss in small groups in a confidential and relaxed environment.
